Paul writes that we should imitate our Heavenly Father like children. How does a child imitate their parent, how can we “imitate God” and what difference can that make to our witness as Christians?
Paul said he prayed for the Ephesians that they would “know… what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us.” Why would Paul bother to pray that they’d KNOW such a thing, and why would it matter if we knew this power?
The first chapter of Ephesians is dedicated to telling the Christians there how pretty they are to God. Why would Paul spend all that ink and paper on this topic? And what can that mean to us?
